The fall has set in and the temperate here in NYC has turned a bit cooler.<\/p>\n

The last several months have been very busy at DraftCheck.\u00a0 As you may be aware, we've continued to update and refine the product in meaningful ways.\u00a0 Cross-Checks and Document Mapping were improved to accommodate for more common drafting errors and inconsistencies.\u00a0 In short, we want to be as close to 100% every time, even if it's not our fault.\u00a0 Please let us know if that isn't true for your experience.<\/p>\n

Now, on to the fun stuff!<\/p>\n

  1. Coming soon....Advanced Redlining.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I know this has taken longer than anyone would have liked (me especially), but we hope to role out something that is materially better than what is available right now. The goal at this moment is by the end of the month of October, but it could slip a week.\u00a0 Our version\u00a0is better than the competitors!<\/p>\n

    We will start support with just Docx files, but will soon also support PDF's.\u00a0 You'll be able to compare Docx to Docx, PDF to PDF, and Docx to PDF and receive it in a Docx with Track Changes.<\/p>\n

    1. More Functionality<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      From there, the comparison results will translate into more functionality.\u00a0\u00a0For example, we'll be able to show changes that affect a cross-reference or a definition, so you can ensure that the respective references are still accurate or update them with a click of a button.<\/p>\n

      Have you ever moved a section that was referenced somewhere else in the document and forgotten to update it?\u00a0 Well, now you'll see that front and center.<\/p>\n

      1. GenAI<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Later this year, we'll be slowly rolling out some GenAI features.\u00a0\u00a0This is a little ways out, and I won't get into detail right now, but our goal hasn't changed. We're focusing on tools that are 100% reliable, that you can trust, and that make you shine to your boss, your clients, and everyone you work with.<\/p>\n

        DraftCheck is available on Microsoft Word and as a Chrome Extension for Google Docs.<\/p>\n
